It's funny how years, even centuries of merely observing the Hero over and over again she never lifted a finger to help. It wasn't her place.

After all, what right did she have in valuing one life over so many others? Despite that she just so wanted to help him. Help Link, and the new fate of Hyrule her and Lana had laid their eyes upon. She felt sick seeing the corruption that laid across the beautiful land, and the innocent lives that had fallen along with the heroes who had fought in vain. She felt horrible as a tiny part of herself felt relieved seeing Link had a small chance to survive. To be able to fight another day.

She had continued to observe his journey until the fated battle against Calamity Ganon. However once again he failed. It made her set foot once into Hyrule again despite Lana's protests. She couldn't let Link fall after everything he and his allies had done for them.

Donning a mask once more, and a robe to further shroud her appearance (not that this Link would know her-) Cia soon appeared before him.

"You there. Do you have a moment?"

[Link was just minding his own business at a campsite within the woods after a long day of travelling through winding roads and pathless fields when Cia's appearance catches him by surprise. He blinks at first before quietly nodding, wondering.]

...Can I help you?

I...

[She trailed while biting her lip. How many years has it been since she had been this close to Link? Yet when she had last seen him so close Hyrule wasn't in shambles. He wore a blue scarf, and a green tunic-...]

I am a traveler such as yourself as you can see but...it's much too dangerous for me to travel on my own. Would it be okay if I stay in your company for a while?

[Well, he doesn't pick up anything suspicious about her. And she's right, travelling around Hyrule is much too dangerous on your own unless you're very well prepared. Expressing no hesitation, Link nods at Cia's request.]

[There's a smile from Cia while she made her way over to Link. She will soon hold out her hand toward Link.]

I am Cia. What is your name?

[hylianchamp]

[Link takes a moment to look at Cia's hand before reaching it out with his own. He responds to her smile with a small friendly smile of his own.]

Link.

[He then gestures Cia to take a seat near the campfire. If she takes a close look, there's actually a cooking pot set atop the fire, food simmering inside.]

I'm making dinner. Want some?

[After shaking Link's hand she turned her gaze to where he gestured. She gave a nod to him before moving to take a seat. Her heart was pounding she was sure of that. She knew she wasn't about to fly off the handle about her feelings with Link. Plenty of years has gone by since.

She can handle this. She had.

Her attention soon moved over to the cooking pot, and back to Link upon hearing his question.]

Ah...thank you, that's so kind of you to offer. What are you making? It smells nice.

It's Cream of Mushroom Soup.

[He stirred the contents of the pot as it simmers.]

I found plenty of mushrooms nearby, so I thought I'd make this one.

[Link then grabs a bowl nearby and poured the soup into it before handing it over to Cia.]

Here.

[Cia watched Link stir the pot and couldn't help but smile fondly. She's seen him cook before, and have tasted his food. She hadn't realized she had lost her thought in staring at Link until he was turning to her with a bowl of soup in hand.]

Oh...ah, thank you.

[She'll reach out and take the bowl from Link. Taking a sip from the soup she smiled still.]

This is...really good. I haven't had food like this in such a long time.
